For some people, bathrooms are a place of function not fashion. But for customers of Canaroma Bath & Tile, bathrooms are a place of style and relaxation.
Customers have been going to Canaroma
for the finest in bathroom furnishings for 35 years: the company celebrates the
milestone this year. Now, a new era of home decorating for the bathroom begins
for the company as they continue to welcome customers to their 18,000 square
foot showroom, and 7,000 square foot outlet store.
Canaroma is the only authorized dealer
in Canada that carries these prestigious internationally-renown brands:
Artelinea, Aquos, Glass Design, Novello, Oasis, Onsen, Mastro Fiore, MGM Stone,
Vanita Case, Sherle Wagner, Treesse and Windisch.
And when it comes to prestige,
Canaroma is all about exclusivity. The company has the largest boutique in
Canada for Dornbracht, THG and Porcelanosa Bath & Tile products.
STYLE
AND EXCLUSIVITY
Patricia Ee, Sales and Marketing
Director for Canaroma says that the store carries a wide variety of the most
exclusive premium products along with the standard domestic brands. This is a
great aspect of Canaroma for a few reasons. One: the customer can be sure that
they are getting a very good product at a competitive price. “We are very
aggressive on price for our customers and make it possible for them to buy our
premium lines,” Ee says. Two: They can purchase products that are not available
anywhere else in Canada and we import them for their convenience. Three: Our
premium products are excellent quality made by the finest craftsmanship that
cannot be replicated by the cheaper brands.
But also, the premium label on
Canaroma products means another important element is at play, which is quality.
Canaroma’s products have lifetime warranties, a feature that is almost unheard
of in any product sector. “Our customers don’t have to worry about purchasing
something they won’t be happy with because of quality down the line, because
everything is guaranteed for a lifetime.”
CUSTOMER
PROFILE
It may seem that such a high-end
gallery of bathroom products may only draw one type of customer, those that are
after luxury. However, Canaroma caters to everyone, from the customer who needs
to buy in bulk for residential builds, to the homeowner who is more concerned
with function than fashion, Canaroma has what the customer needs.
“Customers tend to get overwhelmed, we
have 1,000 types of faucets, for instance,” Ee says. Customers can come to
Canaroma and get what they need and our trained sales staff will ensure they
get what they are looking for.
“There is a difference when it comes to the types of customers that come in. The basic homeowner may know what they want in their bathroom but don’t necessarily have a design in mind. Designers know exactly what they want,” she continues. Regardless, there are thousands of eco-friendly and efficient products to choose from whether function is desired before cosmetic appeal.
Canaroma goes one step above just
being eco-friendly, when it comes to customer and environment-friendly
products. The company is able to tell customers exactly how much recycled
material is in each product including floor tiles. “Most of our brands are
environmentally-friendly,” Ee notes.
Canaroma is known in the industry for
maximizing cost-effective initiatives for consumers and overhead expenses and
the company “proudly offers a variety of bathroom and tile products that are
green, from floor tiles using recycled bottles to dual flush toilets…Canaroma
is committed to protecting Ontario’s environment.”
“Customers choose to come to Canaroma because it’s not just a destination. The size of our showroom allows for a huge amount of sheer choice. This, along with our exclusivity with brands is very appealing. In the showroom we have 35 or 40 vignettes to showcase our products and in order to find products you have to walk through the entire place and you can really envision what your bathroom could look like.”
The company in total features 30
international brands of bath and tile products from all over the world.
Canaroma carries collections from
WetStyle, Victoria Albert, American Standard, Neptune, Vanico and many more
bringing “the exclusive world of expensive luxury to the everyday design-conscious
consumer in their respective remodeling projects.”
Canaroma has worked with HGTV hit
programs to promote its brands and enhance customer satisfaction through brand
awareness. The company is part of the Improve network, Canada’s largest home
improvement center. The Improve network is located in Toronto and is a 310,000
sq foot business providing both consumer, customers and trade businesses with
construction, renovation and design solutions. According to Canaroma, the
partnership with Improve “gives Improve access to Canaroma’s luxury and makes
Canaroma even more readily available to its multitude of loyal customers.”
THE
TEAM AND THE FUTURE
This year the Canaroma team celebrates
35 years of luxury and style and the staff intends to bring its expertise to
thousands more customers who come in the showroom doors. The Canaroma staff is
proud to be well-stocked with lifetime guarantee products and are eager to help
customers with their wealth of information. “Our staff can help a customer
whether they are a tradesperson or homeowner, doing a new construction or a
renovation. Our salespeople know all the brands and everyone is experienced,”
Ee beams.
“Our lines are so compelling that once
people see them, they want to come in again—our reputation brings customers
back,” Ee states. “Our luxury products and aggressive pricing will keep
customers coming back—not to mention, our great service.”
Canaroma continues to offer unique,
beautiful, artistic products and the company intends to grow its breadth of
products for the next 35 years. “We are here and ready to help you design your
bathroom from scratch.”
