Oasis Lutetia Collection

Lutetia Collection
Lutetia was the name the Romans gave Paris, the true capital of Art Déco - the style behind the inspiration for this new model. The hints to this artistic current are all the more evident in the details of the handles, the foot point, the squared lines and the sophisticated lacquered effects. Mirrors and lamps - coordinated with the cabinet of the sink - are created to evoke an atmosphere typical of the Twenties. Details and diamond-shaped engravings are hand-made by expert Murano artists.

Strong, high-impact chiaroscuro shades highlight the strict geometry and the details of the furniture; these elements only reinforce the appeal of pieces that are already elegant and balanced.

Oasis Lutetia Collection

Voluptuous shapes inspired to classic eras are the main elements of the glossy resin sink, whose lines hint at a capital's base. The wide base - that can be used as a cabinet or as a chest of drawers - is available as a single unit (93, 115, 137, 180 cm) or in the double sink version (180 cm). Last but not least, the many shades of lacquer - from vivid to pastel hues - allow for maximum customization.

Elegant and sophisticated details for Lutetia, too: bronze, chromed and gold steel refines handles, feet and profiles.











Daphne Collection
The outstanding elegance of the shapes - finding inspiration in the gracious and essential touch of the Art Déco - goes hand in hand with a high modularity. 

Oasis Daphne Collection

A wide range of modular solutions in different lengths – from 33 to 132 cm – and double depth – 50 or 44 cm – adds to the availability of 4 different finishes: light black walnut, glossy lacquer, crystal coating coordinated to the interior lacquer and smoked mirror. Lining glass and mirrors are available in 45° crystal-cut glass - for an even modular effect.

The Daphne range is available in both suspended and stacked version, with feet that can be coordinate to match handles in the 3 available finishes of gold, bronze and chromed steel.

The style is true to details: drawers feature a cushioned closing system and upon request, they can be fitted with inner dividers lined in burgundy flocked velvet.

Coordinated mirrors and sinks - in glossy white resin - feature the same design with round edges in line with the principles of Art Déco.

Hermitage Collection
The Hermitage range is available in lacquered finish, gold leaf and silver leaf with or without engraving, as well as in the Venetian antique effect. The available lengths are: L 85 - 120 - 140 - 170 cm. The cabinets have an integrated resin top or a built-in countertop.
Handles are available in two types of steel in coordination with mirrors, frames and feet with the same finish.

Oasis pays particular attention to the protection of the environment respecting all the current regulations in the field of environment and pollution, as well as scrupulous attention to any conduct that, however slight, could offend the common sense of environmental education. Since several years Oasis follows programs of separate collection of waste and of recycling of reusable materials to reduce all forms of pollution, both environmental and acoustics, radio-electric or of any kind.

Since 2011, Oasis has installed in its building a photovoltaic system with a power of 193 kW with an annual output of about 150 kW / hour. This results both in clean energy and respect for the environment. The willingness to use integrated ecological systems makes Oasis a conscious company, focused on the future.

As a manufacturer of premium fittings that have won numerous awards, it is nothing unusual for Dornbracht when the international trade press directs its attention to the Iserlohn-based company. In spring 2010, however, it was not an innovative new product that was attracting such great interest in the industry, but a new and globally unique development in electroplating technology. 

The central solution commonly found in the industry - a large, rack-based electroplating system - has been replaced by four modular production lines: two Gavarolines and two Variolines. This has competitive advantages: because the individual units can be readily exchanged, Dornbracht can respond more quickly to customer requests and promptly integrate technical innovations into the process.

Production technology must take second place to design 

Electroplating is the most important added-value process in the production of high-quality Dornbracht fittings. So for Managing Director Matthias Dornbracht, the supreme principle - that all technical units are secondary to the standard of design - was also applied to the development of the new lines. "Not a single radius, nor a single edge is changed for the sake of increasing the number of items manufactured per minute." And it is precisely the more complex, geometric shapes of many of the fittings series, such as LULU or MEM, that require special technological solutions to plate them with chrome or precious metals such as platinum or gold. The Gavaroline has been specifically developed to meet this challenge. It consists of three modular units, with two robots working in each. Each robot has six axes, which allow it  to move accurately in three dimensions and to move the frame-mounted items through the electrolytic solutions. Blind holes, pockets or edges are usually highly problematic, but here, virtually all the residual liquid can escape as the frames are rotated. Spillage is reduced to virtually zero. "We are thus able to achieve a clear improvement in quality closer to the process, as well as minimizing pollutants." Gavarolines allow Dornbracht to manufacture very small batch sizes. Variolines are designed with a moving frame system, for larger quantities with correspondingly lower complexity.

Progress through flexibility 

The new electroplating system follows the modular principle that Dornbracht applies to all areas of the company. The modular structure of the Gavarolines and Variolines allows the company to respond very quickly to the requirements of environmental legislation, technological developments and changes in the market. As Matthias Dornbracht says, "We are pushing ahead with progress far more quickly. Which also ensures sustainability." The production lines have been set up in a new multifunctional hall, some 36,500 square feet in size, which was built on the company premises after the devastating fire in 2009. The basic logic of a modular approach can also be found in this new building. The hall is 30 feet high and is, for example, free of any pillars or supports that might hinder its future use for something totally unrelated to its current function. No process-specific elements have been connected to the building either.

Electroplating – which has always been the most important added-value process in the production of premium products – was fundamentally redesigned in 2009 and 2010 and is now one of the most modern production systems in the world for gold, platinum and chrome finishes. Here, Dornbracht claims that the electroplating robots are capable of giving a perfect finish to even the most complex of components, with minimal waste. As Matthias Dornbracht, the Managing Director responsible for Production, Logistics and Purchasing puts it, "Not a single millimeter, not a single radius is changed for the sake of increasing the number of items manufactured per unit of time." Production takes second place to design. This is another quality factor as far as Dornbracht is concerned.

Nothing is more invigorating than the deep relaxation evoked by the bubbling song and soft flow of a stream winding its way gently through pebbles and rocks. The Streem recreates this pure natural serenity. The neat square base supports a long and slim open spout that lets the flowing body of water cascade freely – a contemporary interpretation of natural creeks. Notice the flat single lever with its distinctive dipped edge, a delicate detail for a soft touch.
